MUSIQQ the singers representing Lativia in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contes thave landed in Dusseldorf and are on their way to the first rehearsal and press conference. MUSIQQ's trip to Germany started yesterday, May 3 when the Latvian delegation was seen off at AirBaltic training center by the German Ambassador Dr Klaus Burkhardt. His Excellency, Mr Burkhardt wished them good luck in the contest and as well welcomed MUSIQQ to his home country presenting a book about Dusseldorf.
After the official part of the farewell meeting the Latvian delegation and the Dr Burkhardt had an opportunity to try the facilities of AirBaltic training centre where the future air plane crew members are trained. After exiting the training air plane through the emergency exit, MUSIQQ was ready to board a real plane and enter the stage of Dusseldorf arena.
Today is the Declaration of Independence day in Latvia and this afternoon MUSIQQ will be having their first rehearsal and press conference in Dusseldorf.
Latvia will be the 17th song to appear in the second semi final on Thursday 12 May.
