According to Eurovision-Greece.com, the swiss broadcaster TSR has already set a date for the 2004 national pre-selection.

After the disappointing result Switzerland achieved in the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn, rumours started circulating in the media, claiming the swiss broadcaster decided to withdraw from future contests.

Now it seems Switzerland is back in business as the swiss set the 6th of March 2004, as the date for their national final to be held. 12 songs will compete in the first round of the contest, from which 3 songs will be selected to compete in the super-final. The Winner of the super-final will, of course, represent Switzerland in Istanbul.
