Two new versions of the Azerbaijani entry in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest Running scared have been made available. An acoustic version and a remix have been released prior to Eldar and Nigar's departure for Düsseldorf, expected to take place on Sunday.

The acoustic version features Dmitry Chetvergov, guitarist and music producer, who is responsible for its arrangement.

Asked about the unplugged version of Running scared, Azerbaijani representative Nigar stated: “It was so much fun to create the acoustic version. This is simply music at its best, with no added production, no computer technology, no editing. This is just us and our song. It’s from the heart, personal and it was a joy to do”.

As for the club remix, it has been created by DJ Ingo Martens aka Azzido Da Bass, who strongly believes in Azerbaijan's chances to do well in the Eurovision Song Contest: “Eldar & Nigar have done a great song and I liked it right away. I wanted to keep most of the parts of the great original song and therefore produced a big pop driven club mix. I wish them all the best with Running Scared and hope that they win the Eurovision Song Contest. The song is a real hit”.
