The final for Lithuania’s national selection show, Eurovizija, has taken place and now after seven weeks of competition we have an overall winner and know who will be representing Lithuania in Tel Aviv. The winner of tonight show is Jurijus!

Tonight’s show saw a total of 8 participants vying for the Eurovision ticket, these being:

  • Alen Chicco – Your cure
  • Henry & Tommy Modric – Neverpart
  • Justina Budaitė-Junà – Strength of a woman
  • Monika Marija – Light on
  • Jurgis Brūzga –  CTRL ALT DELETE
  • Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys –  Mažulė
  • Jurijus – Run with the lions
  • Jurgis DID & Erica Jennings – Sing!

The result emerged by a 50/50 public voting and jury voting deliberation, each having a 50% influence on the final result. Jurijus with his song Run with the lions won the 12 points from both voting bodies and he is now going to start his preparations for his taking to Tel Aviv’s stage!

Coming second was Monika Marija with Light on, while Antikvariniai Kašpirovskio Dantys with Mažulė finished in 3rd place.

Lithuania will perform in the second half of the second semi final on 16 May. Jurijus will hope to follow in the footsteps of Ieva Zasimauskaitė, who made it to the final of Eurovision 2018 and came 12th overall.
