Last year’s Czech representative and their most successful entrant to date, Mikolas Josef, has released a new single!

This track is the follow-up to recent single Me Gusta.  Abu Dhabi will be his sixth single release. It was co-written in Toronto by Jenson Vaughan. Mikolas has the following statements to make:

Abu Dhabi was written in less then 1 hour. It was just insane how quickly the song came together. Everyone was vibing to it in the studio and when I played it to my friends everyone went crazy for it. And I knew by then we are onto something special.

Creating the music video on the other hand took a long time. Only the dance drills went on for something over a month. I am really excited about the music video, we were shooting it for 21 hours straight and the whole team put in so much energy. This is something a lot different from my previous work, can’t wait to hear what my fans think about it.

Mikolas Josef represented the Czech Republic in 2018 with his song Lie to me. He finished in 6th place, scoring the Czech Republic’s best ever result, since their debut in 2007.
