Spain: Lucia to film videoclip in Sitges

Lucia Perez who hails from Galicia has been very busy since she was elected to represent Spain at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with her song Que me quiten lo bailao. She has been touring her natal Galicia giving concerts. This weekend she will be filming the official videoclip of the Spanish 2011 Eurovision entry in Sitges. It is said that the preview video will have a carnival theme.

Lucia is enjoying fame, name and glory at home in Galicia, where she has been busy making television appearances and performing at public events. The Galician artist has been busy rehearsing and working on the choreography and staging of her entry Que me quiten lo bailao recently. Lucia wishes to wear an outfit designed by a Galician designer in Dusseldorf in order to promote Galician fashion overseas.

Both TVE, the national Spanish broadcaster and Lucia are working round the clock in order to come up with an extraordinary show for Dusseldorf. The Spanish entry has been composed by Rafael Artesero. Lucia plans to tour Europe in the coming weeks in order to promote her entry at theGalician Cultural Centres across the continent.

Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the contest twice in 1968 with Massiel and in 1969 with Salome.
