Hungarian public broadcaster MTV revealed moments ago that the song to represent the country in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest will be revealed next week. An internal committee has been responsible for choosing the Hungarian entry for Düsseldorf.
By the end of 2010, it was rumoured that Hungary was likely to return to Eurovision this year. The country's public broadcaster MTV withdrew from the competition in 2010, which led to another tv station, Duna TV, to apply for full EBU membership in order to send a representative to Düsseldorf.Their bid was rejected and MTV then decided to make a comeback in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.
Hungary's last representative in the paneuropean competition was Zoli Ádok, who sang Dance with me in Moscow 2009, failing to reach the grand final.
