Lena enters German single charts with five songs

Five of the six songs performed by Lena Meyer-Landrut in the German national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 have entered the single charts on homeground. Taken by a stranger, the German entry for Düsseldorf, is currently at number two.

The following songs have entered the German single charts:

  • Taken by a stranger (no. 2)
  • Push forward (no. 15)
  • Maybe (no. 53)
  • A million and one (no. 55)
  • Mama told me (no. 58)

The sales of all songs but Taken by a stranger are based on downloads only. The German entry for Düsseldorf has also entered the Austrian single charts at number 32.

Meanwhile, Lena's second album Good news is back on top of the album charts in the third week after being released. Last week, it dropped to second place following the release of Roxette's comeback album Charm school. Sales have surpassed 100,000 copies making the album eligible to be certified gold.
