CyBC, the Cypriot national broadcaster will be airing the official videoclip of their 2011 Eurovision entry San Aggelos S'Agapisa tonight. Christos Mylordos will be representing Cyprus at the forhcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf. The preview videoclip of the Cypriot 2011 entry will be aired on CyBC1 and CyBC Sat tonight between 19.00 CET and 20.00 CET on the CyBC Evening News.

The preview videoclip of San Aggelos S’Agapisa has been filmed in Protara and Nicossia and has been directed by Maria Charis. Thevideoclip depicts a love story of a young couple. Andreas Anastasiou is the composerand Michalis Antoniou is the lyricist of the Cypriot entry.

The 2011 Cypriot Eurovision entry will be presented to the Cypriot public tonight during the main news broadcast between 19.00 CET and 20.00 CET on RIK 1 and RIK Sat. You can watch the webcast here

Christos Mylordou was chosen to be the Cypriot representative for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest whenr he wonthe local talent-show Performance, held afew months ago. He will try to make his country qualify to the grand final for the second time in a row.Cyprus will be competingin the Second Eurovision Song Contest 2011Semifinal schedueled to be held in Dusseldorf on the 12th of May.

CyBC will be airing a special Eurovision show on Sunday the 6th of March at 21.15 CET on RIK 1. Christos Mylordos will be performing at the 2011 Greek Eurovision final on the 2nd of March. The Greek Eurovision 2011 national final will also be aired in Cyprus on RIK 2 at 21.00 CET.

Cyprus debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981 with the group Island and the song Monika achieving a 6th placing. Cyprus's best placing at the Eurovision has been a 5th placing in 1982 (Anna Vissi), 1997 (Andreas and Chara Constantinou) and 2004 (Lisa Andreas).
