Hotel FM kick-off Eurovision promo tour

The Romanian representatives at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Hotel FM, will start their promo tour this week. Their first confirmed destination is Bulgaria's national final on February 23rd, where the band is expected to premiere the revamped version of their Eurovision song entitled Change.

Romania selected its Eurovision hopeful on New Year's Eve. Thirteen acts competed for the honour of representing their home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Hotel FM won the national final receiving the maximum points from the jury and the second place in public's views.

The Romanian hopefuls will start their official Eurovision promo tour in Bulgaria, where they are expected to premiere the revamped version of their entry Change. It was also confirmed by TVR that the next destination will be Moldova's national final on February 26th.

According to the Romanian head of delegation, Marina Almasan-Socaciu, the tour will also include the following destinations :

  • Athens (Greece)
  • Rome (Italy)
  • Brussels (Belgium)
  • Budapest (Hungary)
  • Ankara (Turkey)
  • London (United Kingdom)

Last year, Paula Seling and Ovi Jacobsen have succesfully represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest. Their entry Playing with fire scored an impressive3rd placing with 162 points.

Romania will compete in the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.
