Italy’s 2016 representative Francesca Michielin has not stop delighting us with both new songs and music videos. Today we are discovering Tropicale, the fourth track of her latest album.

Earlier this year Francesca Michielin released the tracklist of her third album 2640. After Vulcano, Io non abito al mare and Bolivia, it is finally time to discover the fourth song: Tropicale.

This latest hit confirms once more the musical maturity of the young Italian singer, who came second at 2016 Sanremo Festival with Nessun grado di separazione. She had the honour to represent her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, the same year.

Francesca Michielin in 2016 Eurovision

Francesca Michielin represented Italy at the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden with the song Nessun grado di separazione. Directly qualified to the Grand Final, she ranked 16th with 124 points (34 from the televote and 90 from the juries).
