HUMAN is an album in Isaura’s characteristic style and with English lyrics, a departure from the Eurovision entry O jardim, which paid tribute to the Portuguese language. HUMAN fully displays Isaura’s capability as a solo singer-songwriter.

The artist thanked everyone who helped her on the two-year musical journey leading up to HUMAN, and of course her fans and followers, on Facebook and Instagram:

Nunca ponho fotografias a rir assim. Mas hoje há uma boa razão:❤️ É amanhã que vos abro o coração. É a minha história…

About Isaura

Isaura Santos (Gouveia, Portugal, 1989) is a Portuguese singer-songwriter. She hit the spotlight when she participated in the talent show Operação Triunfo, the Portuguese version of Spain’s Operación Triunfo, in 2010. Isaura placed 8th overall in the competition.

The artist is known for her combination of various music styles, including electro-pop and hip-hop.

Isaura composed and wrote the Portuguese Eurovision 2018 entry O jardim (“The garden”), interpreted by Cláudia Pascoal. The heartfelt song was inspired by the passing away of Isaura’s beloved grandmother, describing the garden that meant so much to them both. Isaura accompanied Cláudia Pascoal on stage, adding vocals to the song.

O jardim eventually placed 26th in the Grand Final, receiving 39 points.
