The 2018 Spanish Eurovision hopefuls, Amaia & Alfred, graced TVE’s cooking show MasterChef 6 and interacted with the competing chefs during the program.

Alfred & Amaia, the 2018 Spanish Eurovision representatives, were invited to attend TVE’s cooking show MasterChef, where they got a chance to see the competing chefs cooking their dishes and taste some of the delicacies.

Amaia confessed that she doesn’t know much about cooking and would have to work hard in order to learn; she only knows how to make fried eggs and salads. Whilst Alfred said he would be more than ready to cook!

Well-known Spanish chef Jordi Cruz said he’s a big fan of the love birds and Operación Triunfo. He was more than happy to showcase his cooking skills and teach the duo how to cook!

The duo interacted with the chefs and spoke about their love story, treating the chefs with a cappella performance.

The Eurovision experience

The Spanish lovebirds Alfred & Amaia won the 2018 Spanish national final with their love ballad Tu canción and won the golden ticket to Lisbon. The duo defended the Spanish colours at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, achieving a 23rd placing in the Grand Final.
