REVIEW

01. One by One

The final kicks-off with "One by One" a contemporany pop song by Adrian Cristescu. He is accompanied on stage by a pair of backing vocalists and together they deliver a peaceful, confident live vocal performance of the song. The overall impression is good but is that enough for winning the lucky Romanian ticket for Dusseldorf?

02. A Song About Him

Next on stage is Dalma and her pop act "A song about him". Having already participating in Selectia Nationala 2009 and 2010, she delivers a confident live performance. The video screenshots on the background of the stage are effective.

03. Dreaming of You

Fan favourite Leticia Moisescu takes the stage and gets a great round of applauses. Her song "Dreaming of You" was written by the famous Romanian composers Play & Win who are responsabile for the hits of Inna. The vocal performance is confident and for the moment she has the biggest chances to fly the Romanian flag in Germany.

04. I can't breathe without you

Silvia Stefanescu is next on stage. I can't breathe without you was written by Elvin Dandel, a famous Romanian musician living in Germany. Silvia delivers a very good vocal live performance but that dosen't help too much as the song itself is not that impressive.

05. It's so fine

Contemporany teen pop would be the best way to describe the next act. The Blaxy Girls take the stage and deliver a very confident live performance of "It's so Fine". Last time they took part in the Romanian national selection, they won the televoting.

06. I Want U To want me

Claudia Pavel is the hot favorite to win Selectia Nationala 2011. She is fighting for the Romanian ticket for Dusseldorf with her song "I Want u to want me". Although the vocal performance is good enough, you may get the feeling that something is missing. The live show reminds us a lot of Safura.

07. We can change the world

Laurentiu Cazan is the most experienced singer from tonight's line-up and he profes that by converting a flat pop song in something you may want to listen for the second chance. No comments about the vocal performance. This could get high points from the jury.

08. My Facebook Girl

Although being supposed to be a funny act, Dan Helciug is not convincing anybody with this flat ,tasteless performance of "My Facebook Girl". This is surely not winning the Romanian ticket to Dusseldorf.

09. Open Your Eyes

Ianna, Distinto and Anthony Icuagu delivered the most powerful vocal performance of the night. Their song "Open your Eyes" is tipped as the hot favourite to win the jury voting. Their stage act reminds us of Eddie Butler's from the Eurovision Song Contest 2006.

10. Cinema Love

Directia 5 is one of the most famous Romanian bands. Their song for tonigh's selection is called "Cinema Love" and won the preselection phase of Selectia Nationala. The vocal performance is very confident. This should finish in the top five of the scoreboard.

11. Take Me Down

Everyone is ready to party as Ralssa take the stage with their electro song "Take Me Down". Their vocal performance is a little bit messy though, as they are using special effects on their voices.

12. Change

Hotel Fm took part in last year's national selection and finished on the 4th place. Tonight they deliver a very convincing live performance of their self composed song "Change". This act is being regarded as a favourite to win.

13. Bang, Bang

The last song of the evening is "Bang, bang" by Mihai Alexandru featuring B-Body & Soul. Although their routine is quite entertaining this is not standing any chance in representing Romania in Dusseldorf.
