Albania: Juliana Pasha & Luiz Ejlli win first prize

Kënga Magjike, one of the main musical events in Albania took place on 18th, 19th and 20th of November in Pallati i Kongresit in Tirana. Several Albanian Euro-stars won prizes.

The festival Kënga Magjike was created by singer, composer and host Ardit Gjebrea, the man behind the Albanian entry 2010 It’s all about you. Kënga Magjike began airing in 1999 and now it is one the biggest musical events in Albania. It attracts many famous Albanian artists from over the world and international composers. Several Balkan countries broadcast this event.

In total, there were more then 200 songs submitted this year. Only 48 made it to the semi finals.
The edition of Kënga Magjike 2010 took placeon 18th, 19th and 20th of November. In this festival the singers vote for each other and determine the winners themselves.

Juliana Pasha (Albania 2010) & Luiz Ejlli (Albania 2006) with their song Sa e shite zemrën won the first prize with 697 points. They also got the Critic’s award and were nominated for the award Hit song.
Pirro Cako won the second prize and the duo Rozana Radi & Ramadan Krasniqifinished 3d.

Olta Boka, who represented Albania in 2008 finished 8th with 384 points and won the award for the Best Ballad. She also was nominated for the award Best production.

Adrian Gaxha, FYR Macedonia's representative at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest finished 12th with 298 points and won the award for the Best Style.
