To boot, Dami Im also included two original songs on the album.

The I hear a song journey

For I hear a song, Dami Im travelled to Nashville, Tennessee (the United States), to work together with seasoned musicians. Among them is acclaimed Australian producer and singer-songwriter Rick Price.

Dami Im honours each song, giving them all a new sound with her characteristic powerful vocals.

Recording the album in Nashville proved to be a creative endeavor, adding new musical influences to Dami Im’s pop-sound, such as blues, country and jazz.
