Lena Meyer-Landrut, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 for Germany, will appear as a voice actress in the animated 3D film Sammys Abenteuer – Die Suche nach der geheimen Passage. She will speak the role of a little turtle girl called Shelley, who is one of the three lead characters in the film.

Lena will starr in the film alongside famous actor Matthias Schweighöfer and comedian Axel Stein. The film is directed by Ben Stassen and its theatrical release is scheduled for 28th October. Already during her particiaption in the national final, Lena has expressed her interest in becoming an actress. She had already appeared in minor roles in various daytime tv productions, but this is her first appearance in a feature film.
