Winner gets special prize from Riga City

The winner of this year Eurovision Song Contest will get in addition to prize from the organizers a special prize from the City of Riga.

According to the Press Service of City it will be presented by the mayor Gundars Bojars. It is a sculptural composition weighting 2 kilos and is going to cost about 5555 euros.

It's designed by the artist Armands Jekabsons and it's a piece of art made of glass and silver showing the logo of the contest. In the middle of the composition is a golden egg and 26 strings are coming out of it, which will end with red and transparent balls.
