Who will continue their fight to represent Moldova at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest? The semi-finalists of the country’s national selection, O melodie pentru Europa 2018, are set to be determined following today’s live audition stage.

The jury will assess each of the 27 live auditions today, basing their scores and rankings on the professional singers’ vocal ability and performance.

A maximum of 16 artists will be shortlisted to compete in the semi-final stage of the Moldovan national selection, taking place next month on the 22 February.
Ten artists will then advance to the final of O melodie pentru Europa 2018 on the 24 February, in which a combined 50/50 public-jury vote will determine the winner of the national selection.

- 24/01: Live auditions (Twenty-seven artists compete, maximum of 16 acts advance)
- 22/02: Semi-final (Up to 16 artists compete, 10 acts advance following 50/50 jury-televote)
- 24/02: Grand final (Ten finalists, winner determined by 50/50 jury-televote)
Moldova will compete in one of the 2 semi-finals on either the 8 or 10 May, hoping to gain a place in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on the 12 May.
