Only a matter of hours until we find out who will be competing to represent the northern island of Iceland at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, as the Söngvakeppnin acts are set to be officially unveiled.

Iceland’s Eurovision search is getting ever closer and tonight, we’ll find out which 12 artists will be participating at Söngvakeppnin 2018, the Icelandic national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

A special show entitled Kynningarþáttur Söngvakeppninnar 2018 will air from 20:40 CET (19:40 local time) on the following:

The presentation

Tonight in a special show on RÚV, Ragnhildur Steinunn will officially reveal the 12 acts set to compete in Iceland’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Entitled Kynningarþáttur Söngvakeppninnar 2018, the show will see the artists, song titles and composers officially presented to the public for the first time.

As well as the above, small fragments of each of the participating entries will be played on the show ahead of the kick off of Söngvakeppnin next month.

Six acts are set to compete in each of the semi-final shows of Söngvakeppnin, whilst 6 acts will qualify to the final of the national selection on the 3 March.
