Another change has been made to the line-up of the Hungarian national selection as a second act withdraws.

The band Nemzenekar have announced their withdrawal from the competition. In a press release unveiled by the group, they confirmed their non-participation in A Dal 2018:

After the press conference of 6 December 2017, we announce our withdrawal from the competition. This is due to unforeseen reasons and other obligations for which we cannot be held responsible. We apologise to our fans.

Viki Singh to replace band

Instead, Viki Singh will compete in Nemzenekar’s place with her song Butterfly house. This sees the return of Singh in A Dal, having previously competed at the 2017 edition of the selection with her entry Rain, advancing to the semi-final stage of the contest.

This is the second withdrawal from the competition, following The Matter’s withdrawal a few weeks ago.

The first heat of A Dal 2018 will take place on 20 January 2018, with the Hungarian Eurovision representative set to be determined on the 24 February 2018.
