Daniel: “I fell in love with the song from the first minute”

TVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, held a special press conference in order to officially present the Spanish Eurovision 2010 candidate Daniel Diges to the press and media. Daniel spoke about his passion and dream to conquer Europe and about his forthcoming plans and preparations. He hopes to captivate Europe with a magical performance.

Daniel Diges is a 29 year old singer, who hails from the Spanish capital Madrid. During the official press conference, the Spanish artist mentioned that he fell in love with his entry Algo pequeñito. He wishes to achieve either a top 5 or top 10 placing in Oslo with his entry. Daniel is ovehelmed with his victory on Monday, which for him came asa big surprise. He told the press that he was not expecting to win the Spanish national final and that it wasis one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to him in his life. Talking about his song, Algo pequeñito, Daniel went on to say "The song is like a small monster, once it enters your head, it sticks there. I fell in love with the song from the first minute! It is a very beautiful song which capitivates you with its sweetness and elegance".

Daniel is currently working on the Spanish preview video of Algo pequeñito,which according to him will have a circus theme. TVE and Daniel will be working very hard in the coming weeks in order to prepare their entry and stage peformance for Oslo. TVE is very happy with the results of their Eurovision national final and hopes to achieve a good result with Daniel Diges and Algo pequeñito in Oslo.

TVE head of Programmes, Eva Cebrián, was also present at the press conference at the Buñuel Studios in Madrid and was more than happy to answer questions. She told the press that Daniel had been successful in conquering both the juries and the audience.

Eva said that she was very satisfied with the results of the Spanish Eurovision final and that theSpanish national broadcasterTVE was very happy with theoutcome. She expressed that the broadcaster was proud and honoured to have an artist like Daniel Diges represent Spain at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with a beautiful quality song. She concluded by saying that she hopes that Algo pequeñito (Something tiny) can become something big in Oslo.
