Semi final allocation for Oslo determined

Today, the semi final allocation draw for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was held. It was decided, which country will compete in which semi final.

It was also decided, in which half of the respective semi final each country will perform. This was done so that it is already known which countries will rehearse on which day for the first time.

The following nine countries will compete in the first half of the first semi final on 25th May:

  • Albania
  • Bosnia & Herzegovina
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • Latvia
  • Moldova
  • Russia
  • Serbia
  • Slovakia

The following eight countries will compete in the second half of the first semi final on 25th May:

  • Belarus
  • Belgium
  • Greece
  • Iceland
  • FYR Macedonia
  • Malta
  • Poland
  • Portugal

The following eight countries will compete in the first half of the second semi final on 27th May:

  • Armenia
  • Azerbaijan
  • Denmark
  • Israel
  • Lithuania
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Ukraine

The following nine countries will compete in the second half of the second semi final on 27th May:

  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Cyprus
  • Georgia
  • Ireland
  • Netherlands
  • Romania
  • Slovenia
  • Turkey

Furtheremore, it was decided, in which respective semi final the five finalists are going to vote.

The following two countries will vote in the first semi final on 25th May:

  • Germany
  • Spain

The following three countries will vote in the second semi final on 27th May:

  • France
  • Norway
  • United Kingdom
