The two kings of Russian pop music, Sergey Lazarev and Dima Bilan, have teamed up to release the song Prosti menya.

Translating as “Forgive me”, the modern, mid-tempo pop song was kept a secret from press and fans, and was premiered at the Russian music award show, Premiya MUZ-TV.

There have been rumours for many years that the two hugely popular artists would collaborate, and finally many fans’ wishes have come true!

Dima Bilan has represented Russia twice at the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing 2nd in 2006 and winning the contest in 2008. He also participated in the Russian National Finals in 2005 and 2012.

Sergey Lazarev represented Russia at Eurovision 2016, winning the hearts of the people by placing first in the televote. He also participated at the Russian National Final in 2008.
