Germany: Levina releases music video for Stop Right There

Fresh out of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, Germany’s representative Isabella Levina Lueen releases the official music video for her latest single, Stop right there.

Stop right there is the new song by Levina; it was released a week ago and also circulated in an acoustic version. Now, the German artist is ready present the official music video to her latest single. Stop right there is an upbeat song, speaking of empowerment and self-confidence.

On her official website levinamusic.de Levina says about Stop right there:

At times when people talk about you a lot, you should try not to let it influence you. You have to protect your mind and make sure that criticism doesn’t get to you too much.

NDR Talk Show appearance tonight

Tonight, Friday 2 June, Levina will also be a guest in the show NDR Talk Show (NDR, 22:00-00:00 CET), where she will talk about her Eurovision-adventure and upcoming plans.

The show is hosted by Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt and Barbara Schöneberger, the latter also known as the host of the German Eurovision selection, and of the official live pre- and after-party in Hamburg.

About Levina

Isabella Levina Lueen (Bonn, Germany, 1991) is a German singer-songwriter and TV-host. Levina started singing and playing the piano from an early age, and won several regional and national music competitions. She went on to study music and composing in London, where she was lead vocalist of the band Miss Terry Blue.

Levina’s mainstream breakthrough came in February 2017 when she won the German selection for Eurovision 2017, Unser Song 2017. With the song Perfect life, Levina represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine. In the Grand Final, the singer and her entry Perfect life reached place 25 out of 26 contestants, earning 6 points.

Post-Eurovision

Although Levina was obviously disappointed about the result, she nevertheless stated to have enjoyed the Eurovision experience and the opportunity to have represented her country. The good-natured artist is positively going forward, working on her musical career and new material.

She also hosts the music magazine PopXport on DW-TV (Deutsche Welle/ARD), and studies Music Management in London, besides living and working in Germany.
