Eurovision 2017: Allocation draw of the semi-final 1 qualifiers

We have our first set of qualifiers of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with 10 acts qualifying from the first semi-final of the competition. It’s now time to find out which half of the grand final each of tonight’s 10 qualifiers will perform in on Saturday night.

Following tonight’s live show, the winners’ press conference took place at the International Exhibition Centre in which the finalists reacted to the results, going on to determine which half of the grand final they will each perform in on Saturday evening.

First part of final allocation draw determined

The 10 qualifiers have randomly selected which half of the final they will perform in on the 13 May, the results being as follows:

  • Moldova will compete in the first half of the final
  • Azerbaijan will compete in the first half of the final
  • Greece will compete in the second half of the final
  • Sweden will compete in the second half of the final
  • Portugal will compete in the first half of the final
  • Poland will compete in the first half of the final
  • Armenia will compete in the first half of the final
  • Australia will compete in the second half of the final
  • Cyprus will compete in the second half of the final
  • Belgium will compete in the second half of the final

With tonight’s conference complete, here is an overview of the current allocation draw which will be completed following the results of the second semi-final.

First half

With the remaining 10 qualifiers being decided on Thursday evening, it’ll be down to the Eurovision organisers to determine the final running order of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, set to be unveiled shortly after the semi-final 2 winners’ conference.

Eurovision 2017 continues on Thursday 11 May with semi-final 2, with the final taking place on the 13 May this Saturday.
