“I turn to you, friends of the Bulgarian song, and invite you to jointly achieve success for Bulgaria”. This is how Miro, the Bulgarian representative for Eurovision 2010, has launched a particular call for songs addressed to “all known and unknown musical talents in the country”. As we already reported, Miro will perform 5 songs ranging different genres especially written for him. That number could now increase. The national final will be held in February.

Miro has confirmed today that everyone interested in submitting a song to participate at the country's national final for Eurovision 2010, to be held in February, can do so until January 15th. The singer will listen to all the received entries, out of which he will make his choice. The selected song(s) will be discussed with the national broadcaster, BNT, to check which of them are appropriate to take part in the competition.

Entries must comply with the Eurovision rules and can be submitted via e-mail to [email protected] or via traditional mail to the following address: Sofia, Ul. Moskovska 39, et. 4, B.N.O. The chosen entries will join another set of 5, especially composed for Miro, featuring different music styles, and will be performed at the national final, scheduled for February 2010. The winning song will be decided via televote.
