Today, the semi final of the Albanian national selection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest was held. 18 newcomers competed and two of them were chosen by a jury to move forward to the grand final on Sunday, where they will meet the 18 pre-qualified experienced acts.

The following acts have qualified for the final:

• Goldi Halili – Tirana Brodëay (Agim Krajka/Goldi Halil)
• Iris Hoxha – Zërin tim ta ndjesh (Edmond Rrapi/Ledi Shqiponja)

Tomorrow, the 20 songs in the final will be presented once again, this time in different, new versions. The national final will be held on Sunday.
