Two more wildcards announced in Poland

The Polish public broadcaster, TVP, has just announced two more wildcards to join the list of candidates that will compete at the 2010 national final. They are Sonic Lake with There is a way and Nefer with Chcia�em zosta� sam.

Sonic Lake and Nefer make the 5th and 6th names to compete at Poland's Krajowe Eliminacje, the country's national selection for Eurovision 2010, after band PIN announced their withdrawal from the process.

Sonic Lake was created in November 2006. The band was formed at the initiative of two musicians from Poznan: Julia Schiffer (singer, semifinalist of the German edition of the TV show Idol) and Micha� Pietrzak (guitarist, arranger and composer who has worked among others with G. Bregovic, Upper Orchestra, the Young Band, M. Ostrowska , Lo 27, M. Mol�da, K. Antkowiak).

Nefer is a Polish band formed in 2006. Their debut album Nefer was released on 28 January 2008. In July 2008, the group became the supporting act for the Canadian singer Avril Lavigne. The concert took place in Wroclaw Centennial Hall.

The provisory Polish line-up is as follows:

  • Sonic Lake – There is a way
