Historyja majho žyccia
Ksienija from NAVI band is wearing a full length floaty white dress. The dress is covered in a subtle white lacey vine pattern, and the hem is beautifully embroidered with birds and flowers, similar to the embroidery seen yesterday on Ilinca from Romania’s blouse. Ksienija also wears flowers in her hair and crystals along her eyes and eyebrows.
Arciom is wearing beige chinos, a long-line white shirt, a grey waistcoat and a black hat with an embroidered band. He is also wearing a piece of spiky metal he found in the arena as a necklace for good luck! We do not yet know if these are their final costumes, but they are likely to be close to these.

First rehearsals with Belarus!
Here’s a glimpse at Belarus’s first rehearsal
Kicking off Belarus’s meet & greet session is a question about the language choice for the duo:
Belarusian is a vulnerable language and we sing in Belarusian in order to help preserving it.
NAVIBAND, consisting of members Ksenija and Arciom who met 4 years ago, confirmed that they do not intend on performing the entry in any other language other than Belarusian.
The Belarusian entrants spoke of her style of music as well as their favourite genres:
We like country, folk, rock, pop and we mix it. Our music is kind of folk and rock together.
If Story of my life and the happy hippies of NAVIBAND aren’t hyperactive enough, make sure that the staging completes the package. The duo performs on an installation that looks like a boat and an airplane at the same time and together they fly through the backdrop of clouds and cities. It all makes you very dizzy. Smoke and a small amount of pyro are used as well.
The dizziness however takes your mind away from focusing on the more important thing: the song. But the charm of the duo and the authentic traditional anthem called Story of my life might help them to go through.
