Blanche placed in ninth position in day 1 of ESCToday’s Daily Press Poll 2017, having received a total of 0 points from across 35 press voters.

Norma John of #Finland had the best rehearsal today according to the Press Poll. Azerbaijan and Portugal were also among today's favourites. What do you think of the results?Yle Euroviisut

Belgium’s backdrop as revealed during technical rehearsals:

All alone in the stage zone… The Belgian 2017 representative is going to be on the stage for Eurovision 2017! About her performance today, Blanche stated:

It is more challenging to do it this way. I preferred to perform alone on stage because it’s an intimate song.

After two years of good results for Belgium (a 4th place in 2015 and a 10th place in 2016), Blanche said that she feels a lot of pressure and is nervous about her own final result.

Looking back in previous editions, she revealed that her favourite Eurovision entry is the 2009 winning one; Fairytale by Alexander Rybak.

Blanche is alone on stage. The two dancers seen at the performance of The Voice (and the technical stand-in rehearsals) are gone.

The performance seems to be a cry for help as she can’t make it well at all it terms of vocals or stage performance. The small and intimate performance people were expecting has nothing to do with the average backdrop featuring random lines and waves in blue and black. Her voice is dry and her face is expressionless.

During the thirty minutes rehearsal of Belgium we have managed to see only two and a half of the song.

Blanche appears on stage wearing a simple pale pink sweatshirt and jeans. It is unlikely this is her final outfit. We know the designer for her costume will be Johanne Riss, who will also design her dress for the red carpet.
