HRT, the national broadcaster of Croatia, launched the call for the 2010 edition of their national selection for Eurovision, Dora. This is the 18th participation of the Blalkan country in the competition.

Although no official date for the final stage of the national selection was announced, it is expected to take place on March 6th likewise it happened last year. Dora 2010 will gather a total number of 24 songs participating in the final phase of the selection, 8 of them will be elected by a professional jury and the other 16 will be chosen from the submitted songs. The submission starts on November 2nd and ends on December 15th.

Last year, Croatia was represented by Igor Cukrov and Andrea Šušnjara with their song Lijepa Tena. Although they qualified from the second semi final as jury's choice, in the final, they ranked 18th out of 25 with a total of 45 points.
