Last Saturday, Madrid became once again the host city of the annual OGAE Spain convention, held this time at the Hotel Puerta de Castilla of the Spanish capital. There, Spanish Eurovision fans had the chance to discuss several topics related to both the 2009 and 2010 Eurovision Song Contests and enjoyed the attendance of several Eurovision singers.

The 4th annual OGAE Spain convention started with a video featuring the 2009 Spanish national selection, which led to the election of Soraya as the country's representative for Moscow, and collected the OGAE Spain members' best moments in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

There was also a spot to talk about the preparations for the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Oslo next year. Flights, accomodation and tickets were the main topics the fans discussed.

As usual, the meeting gathered some national and international Eurovision names. Last Saturday, OGAE members could see international artists like Lys Assia, the first Eurovision winner for Switzerland back in 1956, and Amina (France 1991). Former Spanish Eurovision representatives attended the event as well: Guzmán, from Cadillac (Spain 1986) and Alejandro abad (Spain 1994 and composer of Spain 2001); also Julia Bermejo (2009 Spanish NF) met with Spanish Eurovision fans.
