Having teased the public yesterday with a taster of the Never give up on you revamp, this evening the British national broadcaster, BBC, has unveiled the official video of the United Kingdom’s entry for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.

The UK Eurovision team have been busy with preparations for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest following Lucie Jones’s victory at the British national final, Eurovision: You Decide, back in January.

Having spoken of a possible revamp of the United Kingdom’s entry Never give up on you, yesterday saw the BBC release a teaser of the official video together with a short snippet of the revamped version of the entry, creating plenty of excitement and buzz around the potential changes.

Last weekend, the British Eurovision team worked with Lucie Jones on the video shoot for the upcoming entry, completing the shoot on Monday evening.

With all changes complete, the new version of Never give up on you has now been unveiled together with the official video clip which you can now view. Check it out!

The official music video was filmed at the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, and was produced and directed by Mark Arrigo. Speaking of the video, Jones revealed:

Never Give Up On You means a great deal to me and I think the video is full of emotion and passion, the way I feel when I perform the song. I hope Eurovision fans around the world will enjoy watching it as much as I have making it.

The coming weeks will see Jones touring across Europe in order to promote her entry for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, before flying to Kyiv this coming May to represent her nation.

As a member of the ‘Big 5’ nations, the United Kingdom will compete in the grand final of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest on the 13 May alongside 25 other competing countries.
