Ireland: Top jury votes and viewer ratings revealed

Credible sources in Ireland have said that Ireland's 12 points from the jury in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 went to Iceland.

The Irish broadcaster, RTÉ have not published the results. However sources have said that the 12 points given by the Irish jury went to Iceland. Meanwhile in the secondsemi final to which Ireland participated and voted in, the 12 points from the jury went to the Ukraine.

Viewing ratings were said to be good this year in the seven time winner nation of the Eurovision Song Contest.

In Semi Final 1 on Tuesday, May 12th – 208,000 (a 16% share)

In Semi Final 2 on Thursday, May 14th – 438,000 (a 28% share)

In the Final on Saturday, May 16th – 438,000 (a 32% share)
