Bulgaria: Three songs remain in final stage of internal selection

Bulgaria’s 6 shortlisted songs have gone down to 3 for the final stage of the internal selection for Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv

As broadcaster BNT continues their search for their Eurovision 2017 entry, they have revealed more details about the internal selection.

From the 6 shortlisted songs, 3 have gone to the next stage of the selection which was helped decided by international members made up of experts, journalists, fans and viewers. BNT says that they have received very positive feedback from the music experts, however one song stands out significantly according to them.

When will we know the artist and song for Kyiv?

In a post via the official BNT Eurovision Twitter page which has since been removed, we will know the Bulgarian 2017 entry before the 13 March. Nevertheless, we are expecting more details in due course.

Bulgaria in Eurovision

This year, the country is aiming for the win as in the past they have received mixed success. Bulgaria’s best score in the contest was achieved in 2016 by Poli Genova with the song If love was a crime which reached 4th place with 307 points. Bulgaria is yet to win the contest, but will that change in 2017?
