Switzerland has selected their act for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest! Timebelle has won Die Entscheidungsshow and will fly to Kyiv this coming May to represent their country at the European competition!
This evening saw a total of 6 acts compete for the right to represent Switzerland at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. The 6 acts were determined back in December following a shortlisting process as well as the Live Check stage of the selection.
Hosted by Sven Epiney at the SRF Studio 1 in Zürich, tonight’s 6 female-strong lineup performed live to the public for the very first time in a bid to earn the votes of the televote and therefore represent the nation at the Kyiv-hosted Eurovision Song Contest. The 2017 Swiss representative was determined purely via a 100% public vote.
Following a special guest appearance by Switzerland’s last qualifier to date, Sebalter, host Epiney went on to reveal the winner of the national final; Timebelle received the highest amount of votes and will therefore represent the nation with the song Apollo. Listen to Switzerland’s official 2017 Eurovision entry below!
SRF released the full results of the final shortly after the show concluded, with Timebelle winning with quite a big percentage of the vote:

- Michèle – Two faces (11.44%)
- Ginta Biku – Cet air la (8.31%)
