“'Liebe macht Spass' came 5th in German Countdown Grand PrixI don't like defeatsOnly two thousands votes decided.” Michał Wiśniewski told about his participation in German Countdown Grand Prix 2003 in yesterday's programme Jestem, jaki jestem.

In Sunday programme Jestem jaki jestem on commercial TVN, Michał Wiśniewski, leader of Ich Troje, said Liebe macht Spass had come 5th in German Countdown Grand Prix. Only two thousands votes decided he didn't get into final three.

Wiśniewski stated two things influenced results. Firstly, the host told they already had won Polish national final (“If Troje wins in Germany, Poland will have to look for another song”, Axel Bulthaupt said). Secondly, a scandalous video of the song 'Keine Grenzen', with short parts of nazi movies included. The video was available unofficially in internet.

However, Wiśniewski expressed satisfaction about receiving about 52 000 votes. He said he didn't like defeats, but also that a defeat was good for him after many successes he archived last time.

Troje took part in Countdown Grand Prix to introduce themselves to German public as they want to release albums in Germany. The second reason was very simple – they wanted to got German 12 points on 24th May.

German website eurovisionsongcontest.de and the newspaper taz reported Troje came 6th.
