Kejsi Tola, the 16 years old representative of Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, has been very busy promoting her song Carry me in your dreams around Europe. The Albanian national public TV has organised for the young star interviews and performances in several European countries, the last one being the Netherlands.

"Netherlands was a great experience for Kejsi", Edmond Xhulali, the composer of Carry me in your dreams, told esctoday.com "because she performed her song in front of a large and supportive audience".

While Kejsi is still working everyday on her performance and vocals with her composer and dancers she also has promoted the song in several countries. Three weeks ago Kejsi was invited by the Greek TV ANT1, in their morning programme. Last week the Albanian public TV delegation visited Montenegro and Kejsi was invited to sing her song and answer questions for the viewers of the National Public TV Cerna Gora.

This week she plans to visit Skopje, the capital of FYR Macedonia. Although she will promote her song for the national TV there, the Albanian public broadcaster is trying to organise a concert for her fans in Skopje. Then on 3rd of May Kejsi will meet with all her fans and media in Albania, before the delegation travels to Moscow.

A report by Altin Hazizaj, president of OGAE Albania.

  • Thanks to Johnny Logan and Hold me now I fell in love with the Eurovision Song Contest, a love that's been going strong ever since with undiminished passion. My first memories date back to 1977 and the lyrics of Rock bottom, Dschinghis Khan and A ba ni bi are still engraved in my brain. I joined esctoday.com in 2006 as a junior editor after being invited by Barry Viniker, I soon became Senior Editor and during the 2007 contest in Helsinki I was appointed Head of Communications. Today I hold the post of Head of Human Resources and I am proud to be working with the best editorial team in the world.
