Israeli national final will probably be held on Monday, March 2nd 2009. During the program, the Israeli entrants Noa and Mira Awad will present the videos of 4 songs for the public and jury to chose from, to be their entry to Moscow.

Esctoday.com has learnt that the show will probably not be in the usual and known "Kdam-Eurovision" format. As it seems, it willbe a short studio broadcast, without any audience. During the program, the videos of the 4 songs in the race will be broadcasted. Afterwards the public at home will have the time to vote for their favourite candidate song. After some sort of an interval act, the results will be given. The public's vote, together with IBA's Eurovision jury vote will decide upon the song, with which Mira Awad and Noa will represent Israel in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow.

As reported before, Mira and Noa both intend that all 4 songs will bear a message of love and peace. The chosen entry will be performed for Israel, in the Eurovision Song Contest's first semifinal, on May 12th.
