It has been widely reported in the press and media very recently that Greek singer Demis Roussos will publish a CD album in 2009, with a completely new (and trendy) team. France's lastest entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest, Sebastien Tellier, will be one of the composers to write for Demis Roussos.
Among the people who will write for Demis Roussos' new album, we can find Sébastien Tellier (last year's French Eurovision entrant), as well as Philippe Katerine (the man who didn't accept France 3 proposal for Eurovision last year) and Bertrand Burgalat, known to many for his songs performed by Christophe Willem.Demis Roussos' album will be entirely in English, with a production by Marc Di Domenico (who worked with Arielle Dombasle and Henri Salvador, to name a few). Demis Roussos was born 66 years ago in Egypt, with parents of Greek origins. He began his musical career in the group Aphrodite's Child and went solo in the 70's, having many hits all around Europe in different languages.
