The first live show for the United Kingdom Eurovision Song Contest selection show this Saturday will be broadcast live at 18:40 local time. The time change for the show on Saturday 10th January was confirmed this afternoon. The viewing audience will be able to vote during the show.

In the first show, Emperors of Soul, Jade, Mark, Damien, Charlotte and The Twins will be singing live to prove they have what it takes to represent their country in Moscow, Russia. Under the tuition and stewardship of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, the artists are going through a steep learning curve in order to have the best possible chance of success at the Eurovision Song Contest.

This week, the six acts are currently preparing for Saturday's first liveshow. They have been making appearances on BBC television shows and working hard for their chance to represent the United Kingdom. Amid their busy schedules, the artists were taken to the O2 Arena in London to perform on the main stage. They also performed to former Eurovision Song Contest representative and winner for the United Kingdom, Lulu, who gave advice on their performances.

Five acts will pass to the second live show on Saturday 17th January.
