During the Icelandic final tonight, Songvakeppnin 2003, voters pipped for pop star Birgitta Haukdal to represent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga.

With the song Segdu mér allt, which means Tell me everything, Birgitta received 21,964 votes from the Icelandic televoters. It's an honourable job, because Iceland is the first country to perform on stage at May 24th.

Eurovísa performed by Botnledja ended up second and Sa thig performed by Thorey Heiddal ended up third.
