Former Eurovision Song Contest runner up as a singer for Serbia & Montenegro, three time composer (for Serbia and Bosnia-Herezegovina) and this year's Eurovision Song Contest host, Zeljko Joksimovic is said to be composing an entry for Montenegro in 2009! The song would be sung by Milena Vucic.

According to esctoday.com’s partner website eurovision-croatia.com, Zeljko has decidd that “now it is Montenegro’s turn”.If he succeeds, Montenegro will be the third former Yugoslav country to have been represented by a song by Zeljko Joksimovic.

In 2004, he became Serbia and Montenegro’s first entrant at the Eurovision Song Contest, his ballad Lane Moje won the semi-final and came second in the final. Two years later, Zeljko composed another ballad Lejla, this time for Hari Mata Hari of Bosnia and Herzegovina, finishing in third place. This year, at home in Belgrade, he not only composed the Serbian entry Oro for Jelena Tomasevic, which finished sixth, but also co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest together with Jovana Jankovic.

Montenegro joined the Eurovision Song Contestin 2007 as an independent nation and has not yetreached the final of the competition since. With Zeljko's successful record of a 2nd place, 3rd place and 6th place, Montenegro would be looking to make a serious assault on the 2009 final.
