Moldavian national broadcaster TRM has already invited all the Moldavian composers and singer to participate in the national final that will probably take place in February 2009. The songs must be submitted until 20th December.

The internal preselectionincludes all submitted songs and will take place after the deadline which is on 20thDecember.A jury will select 20 songs that will participate in the national final. After 45 days of the selection of the songs, TRM will organize a National final that will be transmitted by TRM and TV Moldova 1. There will be a mix of televoting and an expert jury.

There are already rumoursthat some artistsalready have submited or are willing to submit songs for the national final. Among them are Natalia Gordienko, who represented Moldova in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with Arsenium and the song Loca, Onnik, El Radu, Single point, Elite, Pavel Parfenii and others.
