Tonight at 20:05 local time, the Polish final Eurowizja 2003 will be broadcast on the national as well as the international channel of TVP. Performing her new single Impossible, Edyta Górniak, the successful Polish entrant in the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, will appear as a guest star in the show, which will last for 105 minutes. Some of the 14 finalists are tipped to have great winning possibilities.
According to a couple of unofficial web polls, Blue Café with their entry You may be in Love, which has been compared to the new age act Deep Forest, and Ich Troje with their piano ballad Żadnych graniz, a male/female duet with lyrics in Polish, German and Russian, are the hot favourites to win tonight's televote. Outsiders seem to be Wilki's Here I am, the love hymn I believe in you by Magda Femme & Spotlight, the cheerful tune Sonny by Varius Manx, where Monika Kuszyńska (pictured) is the lead vocalist and the evocative ballad Time by the duo Adieu. The 24 year old Olissa Rae from Nairobi, capital of Kenya, makes up the female part of the duo.
