Last night, during his concert at the Printemps de Bourges (French largest music festival), Sébastien Tellier told people there that he will definitely add �a little bit of French� to his song, following the controversy around the English lyrics, launched by 2 members of the parliament and the French secretary of State in charge of French-speaking communities.

In an interview published by French daily newspaper Le Monde's website, the artist said that “there was a misundertsanding.”

“Minister Joyandet thought I had written a song in English on purpose for Eurovision. But that song was already on my new album and people of France 3 chose it. They actually met Mr Joyandet and had conversation with him, to explain the situation. He even said he will come to support us. I will add a few lines in French. Still, I think this debate is a non-sense. Eurovision has a few to do with culture. It is more a big show, a competition”.

Asked on how “Divine” will be presented on stage, Tellier declares that “it will be big, with choreography, dancers and scenery. I will try and bring that circus a trendy touch. All my team will come with me and we’ll take it as a big play-time.”

Back on the lyrics, it is not mentioned whether the “few lines in French” are the ones presently included in the Eurovision version of the song some weeks ago or if there will be another part.

FRance participates in the Eurovision Song Song Contest final on May 24th as it is part of the BIG 4 countries, other BIG 4 nations are Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom.
