The Sanremo Music Festival is approaching its final. Tonight all the Campioni will perform and fight for a place in the final and the winner of the Nuove Proposte will be revealed.

The competition

The top fifteen acts of the Campioni will go on to participate in the fifth gala. They will be joined by one of the bottom five entrants, who will have one more chance to continue their way the music festival in a repechage round. A total of sixteen Campioni will proceed to the final gala.

The top fifteen will be determined by a weighed average of the votes from the first and second nights, which will be 50% of the result. The other half will be determined by the votes received during tonight’s gala, which will include 40% from the public televoting, 30% from the experts jury and 30% from the demoscopic poll.

The four finalists of the Nuove Proposte will compete for the victory tonight. Their results will be determined by the televoting (40%), experts jury (30%) and demoscopic poll (30%).

The guest artists will be Elisa, J Balvin and the ballet dancer Roberto Bolle.

  • 09/02: Night 1 (First 10 Campioni acts perform)
  • 10/02: Night 2 (Remaining 10 Campioni acts perform; first 4 Nuove Proposte acts compete in semi-final 1, 2 qualifiers)
  • 11/02: Night 3 (The 20 Campioni acts perform cover songs, cover round winner decided; remaining 4 Nuove Proposte acts compete in semi-final 2, 2 qualifiers)
  • 12/02: Night 4 (The 20 Campioni acts perform, 15 qualifiers decided including 1 repechage qualifier; the 4 Nuove Proposte finalists perform, winner decided)
  • 13/02: Night 5 (The 16 Campioni acts perform, 3 acts will qualify to the second round of the final where the winner is decided)
