Anna Rossinelli has released the dates of her 2016 tour of Switzerland.

The singer will head out on the road with her bandmates Georg Dillier and Manuel Meisel from the end of this month. Her first show will be in the town of Winterthur in northern Switzerland this coming 25 February. She’ll then perform at venues in Olten, St. Moritz and Liestal before finishing in Mels on 28 May.

Anna and her band will also be appearing on board this year’s Rock and Blues Cruise, departing from Genoa on 17 September. The band will perform alongside acts such as the Blackberry Brandies, Dr Feelgood, the Bellamy Brothers and Bob Geldof.

As well as music from her first two albums, Bon voyage and Marylou two, audiences can expect to hear music from her third, and most recent, title, It takes two to tango.

Released in November last year, the ten tracks of It takes two to tango were recorded in New York at the end of a roadtrip across the USA. In three months, the band travelled 6,000 miles by car across the country, spending time in New Orleans and San Francisco. The album is coloured by the experiences they had on that trip.

Anna Rossinelli represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf. Her song, In love for a while, came in 25th and last place in the final. Later that same year, Anna Rossinelli released her debut album, Bon voyage. It got to number ten in the Swiss album charts.
