TVE will today air a chairty edition starting at 16.00 local time and finishing at 01.00. There will be a one hour break for the news and weather.

During the show, people can call Operación Triunfo (picture) to donate money to charity. Participants from this year's show and also last year's edition, including the winner, Rosa Lopez will perform . Due to throat problems Rosa had taken a break, but for this occasion she was willing to participate.

The new double CD Operación Triunfo: La Fuerza de la Vida features many Christmas songs, as well as unreleased numbers performed by the participants.

Meanwhile, a rumour has surfaced at eurofestival.net which suggests that TVE wants a boyband to go to Riga with an English song, of course with the winner of Operación Triunfo as lead singer and other male participants as backing vocalists. The rumour has, of course, not been confirmed by TVE.
